Free Pm Solar Panel Yojana Registration
To install solar panels for free under the PM Solar Panel Scheme, visit the official website of the National Portal for Rooftop Solar – Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (pmsuryaghar.gov.in). Follow the process outlined below to apply:
Step 1: Click on Registration on the portal
Select your state
Choose your electricity distribution company
Enter your electricity consumer number
Enter your mobile number
Submit your email address
Step 2: Log in
Log in to the portal using your consumer number and mobile number.
Then, apply for installing a solar system on your roof as per the form.
Step 3: Obtain approval from DISCOM
Wait for approval from your DISCOM. Once approved, install solar panels from any registered vendor with your DISCOM.
Step 4: Apply for net metering
After installing the solar system, submit all details and apply for net metering.
Step 5: Obtain commissioning certificate
After the net meter is installed and inspected by DISCOM, a commissioning certificate will be issued through the portal.
Step 6: Submit bank account details
After receiving the commissioning report, submit your bank account details through the portal and deposit the canceled check. You will receive the subsidy in your bank account within 30 days.
