- इस प्रश्न-पत्र को पढ़ने के लिए 15 मिनट का समय दिया गया है। प्रश्न-पत्र का वितरण पूर्वाह्न में 10.15 बजे किया जाएगा । 10.15 बजे से 10.30 बजे तक छात्र केवल प्रश्न-पत्र को पढ़ेंगे और इस अवधि के दौरान वे उत्तर-पुस्तिका पर कोई उत्तर नहीं लिखेंगे ।

Instructions : – Attempt all questions.
1. कस्टर्ड (दूध पर आधारित डिज़र्ट) किन दो प्रकार से बनाया जा सकता है ? कस्टर्ड बनाने के लिए प्रमुख सामग्रियों की सूची बनाइए ।
What are the two types of custards (milk based desserts) which can be made ? List the basic ingredients of a custard.
2. अच्छे पकोड़े बनाने के लिए ध्यान में रखी जाने वाली दो आवश्यक बातों की सूची बनाइए।
For making good pakoras, list the two essential points that you will keep in mind.
3. आप यह कैसे सुनिश्चित करेंगे की टिक्की (cutlet) तलते समय टूटे नहीं ?
How can you ensure that the cutlet does not break while frying ?
4. रीटा अपने विद्यालय के सालाना मेले में बेकरी की एक दुकान/स्टाल (stall) लगाना चाहती है । आपके अनुसार क्या उसकी दुकान/स्टाल (stall) एक आर्थिक क्रिया के साधन के रूप में सफल होगी ? अपने उत्तर को उपयुक्त कारण देकर समझाइए ।
Rita wants to set up a bakery stall in her annual school fair. Do you think her stall will be successful as an economic activity ? Justify your answer with suitable reason.
5. बिस्कुट बनाने के दो सामान्य तरीके समझाइए ।
Explain the two basic methods for making biscuits.
6. केक (cake) बनाने में मैदा (flour) और वसा (fat) का कार्य समझाइए ।
Explain the role of flour and fat in making a cake.
7. आपने अपने घर पर पेस्ट्री बनाई । पेस्ट्री में निम्नलिखित ग़लतियों के कारण समझाइए :
(i) सख्त सतह होना
(ii) सतह का टुकड़े-टुकड़े होना (crumbly crust)
