Ex-Applied Materials managing director of<br \/>\nmaterials Larry Peruffo is set to take up the role of VP of HelioVolt&rsquo;s<br \/>\nsupply chain, while Essilor Laboratories&rsquo; former VP of operations and<br \/>\ntechnology, David Bowen, has been named as VP of manufacturing<br \/>\noperations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\nMr. Peruffo&rsquo;s 24-year occupation with Applied Materials saw him hold<br \/>\nvarious roles, culminating in his most recent post of managing director<br \/>\nof materials.&nbsp; This new role with HelioVolt will see him apply the<br \/>\nexpertise garnered from his time with Applied Materials to the<br \/>\nTexas-based company, developing its supply chain operations to<br \/>\nimplement the company&rsquo;s processes and technologies across its product<br \/>\nlines.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Bowen&rsquo;s tenure as VP of operations and technology<br \/>\nwith Essilor Laboratories of America saw him aid in the company&rsquo;s<br \/>\ntransition to large-scale production.&nbsp; Prior to this role, he was<br \/>\nmanager of global operations strategy for Black &amp; Decker, and<br \/>\nbrings this operations experience to HelioVolt&rsquo;s product development<br \/>\nexpansion strategy.<\/p>\n<p>HelioVolt is a thin-film solar products manufacturer based in Texas.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nBy S&iacute;le Mc Mahon\n<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HelioVolt Corporation CEO Dr. B.J.
