\n\t\tSolar module manufacturer SOLON AG has added to its
\nexecutive team with the appointment of Dr. Gero Wiese as COO, bringing
\nthe number of company directors to three. Company CEO Thomas Krupke and
\nCTO Dr. Lars Podlowski make up the other member of the company’s board.<\/p>\n

Dr. Wiese was most recently Managing Director for
\nGillette Deutschland GmbH, and spent a total of 11 years working with
\nthe company both in the U.S. and Germany. He also held the role of head
\nof technology and quality for AEG\/Matra and was a research assistant at
\nthe Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems.  He is a mechanical
\nengineering graduate from Braunschweig in Germany and Waterloo, Canada,
\nhas an M.B.A. from Fontainebleu in France and has also earned a Ph.D. 
\nfrom Darmstadt University.<\/p>\n

SOLON AG is a solar module and photovoltaic systems manufacturer based in Berlin.<\/p>\n
